About

This is me - Eva

A determined, organized, creative and openminded country-soul, which has been living the metropolitan life for over 12 years. After studying Interactive Multimedia Design in Belfast, which shaped me to enter the working world as a front-end developer in London for 3 years, I have been loving working as a UX- and Strategic Designer for the past 8 years. With it, I have found my passion. I love making products and solutions more usable and understandable for everyone. Meaningful experiences are a big plus. In my spare time I love baking sourdough bread, being outdoors or hiking the alps.

How I work - My ideal design process

I enjoy looking at a task and then deciding, where my possibilities lie. I start by asking myself serval „W-Questions„. What is the goal of the task? Who is it for? Who is involved? Why is there a need for change? What is the business goal? How can I make a service, process or design better? I need to involve the voices of users and stakeholders to make the right design decisions. Combining different needs, parameters, data and my experience help me come to good decisions.

What I do - My favorite fields

Consulting

It allows me to blend creativity with problem-solving, helping clients transform their visions into reality. The process of understanding diverse challenges, crafting tailored solutions, and guiding clients has a significant impact on my work.

Research

Learning about users, their needs, wishes, pain points, and challenges to identify where opportunities lie by creating a solution or design that is needed and wanted. Design by data is a huge interest of mine.

Design Thinking

Being a certified Design Thinking Coach (by IBM) enables me using the right methods within my design process and to teach others, how and when to integrate them into design processes.

Service Design

How can one improve an existing service or a new technology or product to be delivered as a service or business opportunity? I love bringing together human, digital, and physical interactions to create experiences.

Agile Product Development

Agile product development allows to effectively respond to change, risk, and uncertainty. With its collaboration and flexibility, it helps teams and products to work well. In an ideal world – this is how I like to work.

Accessibility

Ensuring that information, activities, and environments are meaningful and usable for everyone, regardless of disabilities, is paramount. Having worked on several projects with high accessibility standards, this is an important topic to me.
